Is the humour dated or still very consistent in this movie?

I only saw Tommy Chong as Leo in That 70's show and I hear his character is quite similar in this movie :)

I don't think it's dated at all. Unless you're 12 and have no concept of anything before 2014.

It's only dated in the sense that the film practically exemplified the 70s in style and tone and some of it might not translate to today's audience. For example, Chong dressed like a giant quaalude is a joke that some younger viewers might not get, because I don't think many people under 30 or even 35 have even seen a lude.

However, much of the humor still holds up. The scene where they get pulled over while driving the van is still hilarious.
I saw it when I was a very young kid and I loved it. I was just watching it again tonight and unlike some comedies that I saw as a younger person, this one still made laugh.

To me, a comedy is dated when the jokes are so old fashioned or played out that they are no longer funny, and that's not the case with this film. So to answer the OP's question, the images may be dated, but the humor itself, most of it anyway, still holds up.

I first saw it in high school in the mid 90s and I thought they were hilarious, even the dated jokes were still great. Wore out my copy on VHS.
