I liked this movie as equally, if not better, than Cannibal Holocaust. CH was based around the disturbing atmosphere, but Jungle Holocaust felt more like a movie you can really get into. The story was epic, the ending was great, and the first half of the movie when they're in the jungle is fantastic.

Agreed! One of my favorite cannibal films. It's more original and I think it has more substance to the story than a lot of others, 'cause it came before most cannibal films (2nd one ever made).

Although I don't think this movie is better than 'Cannibal Holocaust', I think the main character in 'Last Cannibal World' is far more likeable than the four *beep* documentary makers in CH. This is what makes this film more charming, if I can use that word very broadly...

too stupid a film. way too contrived. It's like the moron on the block telling a story at a party. No one believes him, except for beavis and butthead.

I don't think it was a great film but it sure was better than Cannibal Holocaust. The first half of CH is fun. The second half is just a waste of time.
This movie dragged a little near the end, after the escape, but was pretty entertaining and the cannibal scenes are more enjoyable than the cannibal scenes from CH.
I do think this is a great film, but not better than Cannibal Holocaust. And stunning Me Me Lai is in this... I wonder what she's doin' these days?

I agree too, this movie was pretty awesome. Maybe not as powerful or thought-provoking as Cannibal Holocaust but certainly more entertaining and more reminiscent of a traditional action/adventure flick. I enjoyed all of it, even the animal killings were sort of tolerable except for the horrible horrible slaying of the alligator.
