Hey, he was a working actor. He always kinda reminded me of Darren McGavin. There was a really good actor, and look at all the garbage he appeared in. I don't think he ever turned down a role. If I was an actor, I wouldn't either.
Morrow was a very talented actor AND director and it's a damn shame Hollywood treated him like crap. He was one of those very rare actors who made his performances look natural. He was awesome in his very small part in 'Twilight Zone: The Movie'. I have seen many an actor whose acting was very obvious. Leonardo DiCaprio comes to mind.
I love him in 'The Bad News Bears'. In fact that's the very first movie I saw him in. And I'm glad he smacked his punk kid because the boy had it coming.
I can't believe Morrow would now be 84. He'd be a grandfather.
Morrow and the kids should not have died for Landis and his *beep* movie. I think the saddest part of the whole thing is that he and Jennifer Jason Leigh didn't get the chance to make up and two children never got to grow up.
He still has many fans all over the world because of "Combat!". I'm glad he is remembered as an actor AND a human being,not just the actor who "got his head chopped off" making a movie.
He deserves that much.

It makes me sick. There is absolutely nothing amusing about the way Morrow was killed. What makes it worse is that two children died as well.

I thought Vic Morrow did a great job in this campy movie. He kind of "legitimizes" the movie. I think its a fun movie to watch, especially with a large group.
