FX gap

I've never understood why such a technologicaly strong and advanced people like the Japanese don't use this technology in thier movie entertainment industry more effectively. Perhaps they just don't see a need to invest the kind of money that it takes to pull-off that kind of "Hollywood quality" in this area. That's not really a bad thing though as Hollywood and the supporting community (IMHO) has become so distorted and utterly ridiculous. Unfortunately it also helps spread that type of upside-down thinking and distorted values to our young people. Or maybe I'm just an old codger who's "shakin' a rake" at the neighborhood kids!! ;-) lol
