Was Kent the one that killed all the victims? Did Cameron Michell's character kill anybody or did he only kidnap the girl that looked like his daughter?

I've never thought of Kent as the killer. Interesting point.

I assumed it was the older guy all along and Kent was kind of protecting him

Cameron Mitchell was the toolbox murderer. You can tell it's him under the ski mask.
