Star Trek / Lost In Space crossover???

So whats with this anyway? No connection to Gene Roddenberry or Irwin Allen yet the Machine's engine sounds like the Jupiter 2 and the special effects are right out of the Enterprise transporter room.

I don't know a lot about anything but I know a little about practically everything
