If you placed a time bomb on the time machine

And sent the machine into the past, let's say 24 hours into the past, and the bomb explodes in the past, how would that affect the future?

Remember the bomb is on the machine, like on the chair, so the machine would be destroyed in the past, yet it had to have been built in order to get to the past....

Am I going crazy? Paradoxes?
