I saw he is in the cast, but in what scenes did he appear??? I can't find him! He must be unrecognizable!
shareLamas shows up around 48 minutes into the movie, and he's in it for about 7 minutes. I think he's the first person to be hustled by Shields after she takes off for Texas. His hair's a little shaggier than it was in GREASE, and he's wearing a high school jacket with "71" on it. He's in the same scene as Fred Ward.
According to Leonard Maltin's movie guide, the film was trimmed sometime after its initial release from 111 minutes to 100 minutes. It's quite possible that he got cut out of the version you saw -- his scene is lengthy and has little to do with the plot. The Continental Video release (which came in a big, oversized, porn-like box) is uncut. I'm guessing the video's from around '80 or '81 (not '84 like imdb cites) and I'm relatively certain there was another video release after that... it's quite possible that subsequent video releases included the truncated print of the movie.

shareI have no idea what was cut out of the shorter version. I saw the movie on HBO a few times decades ago (no telling which version they played) and didn't see it again until earlier this year. If you can figure out how to download from sharebee and decompress a rar file, I did a divx rip of the uncut version:
