Once Again, If It Wasn't For Roddy McDowell . . . . .


I'd have no idea what this program was.

I actually thought it was earlier than '78, so that is a surprise.

They had to enter a domain or something where voices called out to them truly insulting comments.

First this Prince Taj entered and became outraged at what was said. I think it was here they weren't supposed to stray from the path or they'd turn to stone and the prince did just that.

McDowell now enters and the insults began and McDowell was totally unphased by them.

They were terrible slurs and I want to say one of them was "you carry your mother's xxxxx" I'm not going to type what I thought the word was.

McDowell just calmly walked thru and was agreeing with everything said. Then he sees the prince off the path and has to rescue him.

It seems like everytime I see someone unimpressed with an insult, I remember McDowell here.
