soundtrack for Thank God it's Friday
how is it possible to attain a copy of D.C. La Rue's "you can always tell a lady (by the company she keeps)" which was featured in the film but not on the soundtrack?

shareI know it's a drag and I just bought the cd soundtrack only to find it was not on there along with the MIA song "Trapped in a Stairway" by Paul Jabarra.
shareYa gotta get the 2 CD set for those songs. Try www.moviemusic.com.
Disco was an amazing time to be young. There has not been nightlife in America since.
Don't listen to this B.S. that Disco sucks. If you were young, knew how to dress and could Hustle the world was yours. Only short, fat, bald, white guys who had no style, rythm or class, didn't know how to dress and couldn't dance thought Disco sucked.
AFAIK, the only D.C. LaRue song that appears on any TGIF soundtrack is "Do You Want The Real Thing?" It would be great if a complete soundtrack for TGIF could be released with ALL of the film's songs, such as "Romeo and Juliet", "From Here To Eternity" and "Down To Love Town".
"Is it this sexual RODEO that has you in this STATE?"
As far as I know it was only available as the b-side of the 12" single for "Let Them Dance". I have a copy of it and it's a funky tune running about 8 1/2 minutes in length.
share I'd try YouTube because rare songs are popping up there all the time.
