i just noticed a nod to Irwin Allen's great movie The Towering Inferno in The Swarm .. There is a scene in the movie where Michael Caine and Katherine Ross are driving in the van in town and they drive right by a movie theatre playing
" The Towering Inferno " in the marque... check it out..
