Additioinal scene with Dr. Newman removed

Actor Morgan Paul had additional dialogue in the film. There is a scene that was deleted where Paul's character, Dr. Newman, discusses with Dr. Crane (Caine) about how his scientific team's attempts at cross-breeding American with African bees might be able to remove the hostilities out of the African bees.

The idea is scientifically plausible, but not for the timeframe of the movie, as that process would take at least three years before a change would be seen in the behavior of bees. Most likely why the scene was removed.
