I was just noticing the star power myself... Wowsers...

I don't know what is more amazing: that Olivia de Havilland made this movie almost 40 years after The Adventures of Robin Hood and Gone With the Wind, or that fact that she is still alive today - 35 years after this movie was made.

There was a trend in the Seventies for these amazing actors to appear in truly awful movies, including "Tentacles" (the dregs), which makes this film look epic! Then, there's "The Visitor". JOHN HUSTON is in both of those! Yeesh!

However, Irwin Allen did seem to have the knack for rounding up all-star casts of Oscar nom's/winners. I imagine they received good paychecks or at least a chance to try to practice their craft, even if they decided to "walk through" the experience.

That's amazing! She'll be 99 on July 1st. I'm sure she's long forgotten this movie. I just watched the train wreck scene too.
