I'm very desperate in owning the original animated Swan Lake.
Isn't the original producers/distributors of this wonderful movie
ever going to release it on video (whether on DVD or VCD)?
The last time I saw it was when we rented the video (on Betamax tape)
in the mid 80's. I really regret not buying it from the video store
because now I can't find it anywhere.
If I can address this message directly to the distributor, I would,
but the problem is, I don't know who the distributor was.

I REALLY, REALLY LOVE AND MISS THAT MOVIE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I WOULD BE THE FIRST ONE TO BUY A COPY IF IT WILL
BE RELEASED AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The video distributor for this movie is Hi-Tops Video.

Did you ever find this? Because this message was over 2 years ago.
I am also seeking this. I have it on a compilation tape (copy) but it is poor quality. My sister is the voice of Odette. She doesn't even remember if she has a tape of it!

I believe this is the same copy of it that I have. This was my favorite movie as a child, this particular version, no other. I am surprised they haven't redone it on DVD because it seems like a lot of people want it. I got my copy off ebay. They never did make it on DVD but someone with a VHS copy must have realized that indeed everyone wants this movie and he made DVDs of it. I would recommend ebay. If you don't find it there, put up another post and I can make a copy of mine for you.

eBay definitely has it, both on DVD and VHS.
I hope you all find a copy of it. I absolutely adored this movie as a child. I can't wait for my copy to get to me!

The DVDs are bootlegs. Yes there are VHS and DVD of this available on Ebay, but the DVDs are bootlegs that were copied from VHS tapes. Even the one known as the Delux version which has both dubs on it is a bootleg even though it looks very real. Hope that helps?

I found a copy on ebay an was out bidded, i carnt believe how popular this film is, i would love to have it as it will bring back so many chidhood memories.
If anyone spots it please let me know.

So was this a re-dub? I see two listings and they have Pam Dawber listed as Odette for one of them.

It's on Amazon, and not that expensive: ASIN 6301005236. -Amusing to think that Amazon now OWNS imdb, and yet the Amazon purchase links are so incomplete...
