LOL!!! This is hilarious stuff... watching some of it now. It wouldn't surprise me if the exremely cheesey concert stuff inspired some of the corniness that made "This is Spinal Tap" such pure genius. Those guys look like they're taking themselves SOOOO seriously.
Ah, well... it was a different time in those days and some people really liked that crap. Thank goodness for really good bands like Zep, Eagles, Stones, etc.
I thought I had set the DVR for this movie (got Heavy Metal though) but I LOVED IT! Hope they show it again soon. I bought a documentary on iTunes about 70's Australian filmaking, "Not Quite Hollywood" and this movie is probably in it.
I think most of the TCM Underground stuff airs twice a year.

Yeah! I got an email saying a comment had been made, then later I was scanning TCM's schedule for tonight and saw that it was on at 2am. Yippee! Thanks for the heads up.
