i think i remember this film

i remember seeing a film where a woman lives in a high rise apartment and she is talking on the phone.she's looking outside while a man in the background is creeping around her apartment.at the end of the film the man falls to his death.is it this film or does anyone know the film i'm talking about?thanks.
