Folks,

The Small One is a Disney Short, right? Does anyone know what film (or re-release) that the short premiered with? For example, I remember seeing Mickey's Christmas Carol with a re-release of The Rescuers (back in 1983). What movie did Small One premiere with?

I believe this was for an Xmas re-release of PINNOCHIO -- I remember seeing it in the theater with this and crying my eyes out. Of course, I was only 5 at the time.

Ben and Me was released with Jungle Book. I was only a pup when that came out scary I remember that.

No, this one was indeed released with "Pinocchio" I remember reading an interview with Don Bluth (the director) who complained about that - that his little film, animated largelly by new animators and trainees, would be released along side one of Disney's best films.

The Small One also was re-released with Cinderella during the 1981 Christmas season. I remember seeing it at my local theater in NJ in early February of 1982 along with Cinderella.
