The Small One vs. Nestor, the long-eared Christmas donkey

There's yet another Christmas special with the same plot- "The Little Brown Burro," also from 1978. My personal favorite is "Nestor" followed closely by "The Small One."

I've always preferred "The Small One" to "Nestor The Long Eared Donkey." I wish some network like Family Channel which airs so much Christmas programming would air "The Small One" more often. Too few people who enjoy Christmas shows get to see it.

I prefer "Small One." I think it has a more meaningful story and I cry at the end upon every viewing. Nestor also just felt like a rip-off of Rudolph to me.
