re: Nice Little Romantic Movie

Good news for michyh in Orange County who has been waiting 20+ years to see this movie again: it's airing sporadically on Satellite. Check the MC channels. It last aired Thursday July 29, 2004 in the afternoon.
Being a general dance enthusiast, I enjoy just about any dance film and this was no exception. The choreography is ahead of its time. The film was made in the seventies but you would never know it from looking at the choreography alone. Anne Ditchburn is gorgeous and sports her trademark head scarf throughout the film. Her performance earned her a Golden Globe for "New Star of the Year". Paul Sorvino gives a fine performance as her sensitive admirer. Some of the issues may not be fully appreciated by those unfamiliar with the dance world but I think anyone can enjoy this film if they watch with an open mind. The Director later did Rocky and Karate Kid.
