I just looked at the credits and saw a Jim Cameron credited for craft services. Is it the same Jim Cameron who directed Terminator, Aliens, Titanic, etc. or is it just a coincidence that the guy has the same name as James Cameron?
shareJim "Titanic" Cameron was a well known chef before he became a successful film director. He catered many events in and around the country.
shareIt's not unreasonable to think that. He started working at Corman's effects unit around this time or shortly after. This could have just been a foot in the door type screen credit. He might have been a PA or been doing many jobs (like he did on most films in the early part of his career) but heads of departments tended to get the actual screen credit for things.
This was shot in 78 or 77. I'd need to check the time line for when he went to Hollywood.
