any similiar movies??

Hi

Would you recomend similiar movies of robbery and suspence minus the gruesome murders and blood. looking mostly for mystery and suspence but not horror or ghosts...

Check out Don Siegel's CHARLEY VARRICK. It's about a man (played by Walter Mathau) who robs a bank and discovers that the money he stole was laundered mafia money so now he has to avoid the cops and the mafia! It's a very taut, intelligent thriller and it unfolds quite similarly to NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN. Co-stars include Joe Don Baker, John Vernon, and Andy Robinson!! I personally think it's even better than SILENT PARTNER. :)

Bad Influence

BIG TIME. Curtis Hanson does like his 'movies that contain a scene of trying to hide a dead body rolled up in a rug' moments.

maybe someone could hunt down the original Danish version of this film.

Blood Simple is excellent. Some blood, but well worth it.

Entrapment (with Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones) is good too.

"The Aura" is an excellent movie, with some similarities (a man making an honest living gets an opportunity to pull off a heist... I'm not giving anything away, watch the movie to find out the rest). It actually has a much more complex and credible plot than this one. It's in Spanish though.

The Long Goodbye - A pretty good Detective Thriller from the 70's also starring Elliot Gould.
