Did Cullen have an alternative plan in case the guard/cops caught Reikle when he got off the bank? Or would he just put the money back in the drawer?

The money Miles gave Reikle at the end was the banks money from his drawer, not the money he stole...even when Reikle is ding at the end, he tells the cop that shot him, "HE GAVE ME THE BANKS MONEY"..then died...
