Fabulous Sophia

I thought it was very well done.Well written,well-acted,well directed.Loved the performances of Giannini and Mastroianni.But it was Loren who stole the show.I thought she was excellent in this part.Loved the close-ups of her eyes that conveyed so much.For actors/actresses who work in film the eyes are so important.Loren's Titina is definitely on the same level as that other famous widow ostracized from the claustrophobic society of a small mediterranean island: Irene Papas' widow in "Zorba the Greek".
