I would like to know if the stated 131-minute running time is true and if so, is the little indian boy scene included?
shareyes i have a copy from bijouflix but no the little indian boy scene is not in there but the running time is correct excellent movie!!!
shareno. the movie itself is not true. but the two stories that were told (the miners and the trappers) are true (however, they were dramatically reduced in detail for the sake of the movie. and other things were changed in the story to add to the scary factor.

there are some other stories, one of which is the osterman story, which i simply find too stupid to believe.
i think the apy canyan and bauman story reads are much better than what's told in the movie.
this movie scared the crap out of me (when i first saw it at 8 years old)
