These are the words:

Hello!!...I don't even know your name, but I'm
hoping all the same, this is more than just a simple
HELLO!!

I know, that before the night is young, I'll be thinking of the time I said!!...Oh the last time I felt like this, I was falling in love, Falling in feeeling, I'll never fall in love again, Yes the last time I felt like this was before I knew that my feelings now were true!!

Does anyone have it or know where to download it?

"Love's not about what you expect to get, only what you expect to give- which is everything."

reply

I do have it. I downloaded it several years back but can't remember which program I used. That was before the RIAA got all antsy and it wasn't impossible to obtain hard to find recordings.

I don't take the movies seriously and anyone who does is in for a headache

iTunes has is as a part of the Johnny Mathis Greatest Hits set. Wonderful song!

I haven't seen this movie in over 20 years, but I swear that I remember during the closing they played this stanza:

(Johnny singing): Hello, it all started with hello, on an evening long ago, when an unexpected smile caught my eye.

(Jane singing): Hello, if I'd smiled and looked away, we would not be here today to never say goodbye.

Yet, I can't find this stanza as part of the lyrics of the song anywhere. Does anyone have the dvd and would be willing to see if these lines are sung at the end of the movie? It's driving me crazy.

Thanks!

I just saw the movie yesterday after having listened to the single many times on my iPod. You are right that those words are the first verse in the movie-- part of the exposition before any dialogue. There is a second verse covering the transition montage between first and second meeting-- but the single does not have either one of those verses-- I suspect because it is tied too specifically to the movie events and doesn't really stand alone.
