I know there are a bunch of threads about the song already, *but*....

...does anyone know where I can find the lyrics for the in between parts of the song (the ones that played between scenes)? The ones that were over those images of the changing years? Specifically, I'm looking for the one about growing up and dreams. Thank you.

I don't think there is one -- I love it too. But what you MIGHT be able to do, if you have the DVD is play it on your computer and record it with a program like Audicity, and stop and start the recirding where applicable and kind of cobble one together?

I keep meaning to try this, as I have the program, and the DVD, but I have a bunch of other projects to finish first.

This is a Johnny Mathis song. Can't remember who sings it with him, but you might try looking up lyrics to his songs or going to his website to try to find out more info about it.

The wonderful and still singing Jane Oliver.

"Dreams make promises they can't keep.
They can fool you while you sleep.
And the morning finds you wondering why.

It seems.. that in ceratain dreams we trust.
Maybe growing up is just.. kissing certain dreams good-bye.

Thats the best I can remeber, anyhow.

It's actually:

Dreams make promises they can't keep
They can swindle you while you sleep
And the morning finds you wondering why

It seems, when we're young in dreams we trust
Maybe growing up is just
Kissing certain dreams goodbye

All we are saying is give peace a chance
