I read the trivia section and looked at the thread titles here, no mention as to why Dreyfus is back. I mean, he disappeared! The laser beam made him vanish!
So is it explained anywhere how he came back and why he's in this movie?

haha I was wondering the same thing. I mean, that's a big plot-hole, not to mention he was a crazed criminal in the previous movie, bent on destroying a whole city or more.
