I love the 1970's 'Magnum Force' music, LOL

I just recorded this movie, as it was one of my favorites as a child, and is still fun to watch, and one difference it had from the first "Witch Mountain" movie was the musical score. I suppose that since it took place in a large city, they had to give it fast paced "City Music", but I thought that Inspector Harry Callahan was going to pop out any minute. (Especially with Clint Eastwood movie veteran Anthony James playing a classic villian by the name of "Sickle").

That's funny. I saw the movie for the very first time this evening and I commented that the music reminded me of what you'd hear in old "Starsky and Hutch" TV episodes.

Yeah, that funky 70's TV cop show-style music was a total groovy blast, man! Composer Lalo Schifrin also did the scores for several of the "Dirty Harry" pictures, so there you go.

70s waka-ju-waka chase scene music.
And for some reason, Sickle reminded me of Mistretta (or was it Gallano) in Mitchell.

Awesome! I love that kind of music. Can't wait to see this movie!

LOL - we were laughing at that music too; but loved it at the same time. I didn't connect it to Dirty Harry though - it sounded familiar to me, but I figured it was an amalgam of all things 70s!

So true about the music...As someone mentioned...waka-ju-waka and of course the scratching sound on a metal pipe...

It's interesting how you can tell an era of a movie just by the background music...
