Very red

Anyone here was annoyed by Tia's red outfit?

excuse for my English (he-he)

Funny you should mention it. My first reaction was that it looked dated and frumpy and too old for a young teen. And the loafers, yuck. She looked like a spinster teacher. Then I remembered that this was made in the late 70's and remembered some of my high school outfits. I think she was "dressed up" for a trip to the city and her character wanted to look grown up. Still, it was a shame to see such a pretty girl wearing something so plain for the entire movie!

Don't worry about your English, it's a hard language to learn with many exceptions. You sounded charming. However, if you want to get it exactly right, your original question should read, "WAS anyone here annoyed....".
Good luck to you!

On first arrival it seems okay for the time period - as the previous poster said, she was dressed for her big trip to the city. But it really caught - nay, burned my eyes when she was running through the dingy back alleys with the "gang" dressed in their grubby denims. Wow, does it stand out. I kept hoping "Crusher" would bring her a change of clothes from his big sister! lol

I was hoping, that guys will rip off her jacket sleeves...at least :)

It's true - It's a very typical 'dressed up' outfit from the 70's. Kate Jackson on 'Charlie's Angels' also wore a lot of the suit/vest combos.

The shoes are a bit 'conservative' but at least they're dress shoes. Brown was very big then!

‘Six inches is perfectly adequate; more is vulgar!' (Prime of Miss Jean Brodie Re: An open window).

I think she looked GREAT!

Nice legs in very 70's tan pantyhose - I loved her look back in 1978 when I was 7 years old and I still love it today!

That really turns me on. Especially the tan nylons.

Yes, and she is like a running target for the bad guys to find her in that stick out RED.
As for the design, I remember that was the style back then, and I recall having a very similar outfit but in brown, goucho pants and a vest (UGH) Well at least I don't have any pictures of me in that outfit, sad for actors, their fashion choices live on in movies.

But my question is what about Tony's turtle neck? It is a hot summer day!!!

In the late '70s and early '80s, the outfit didn't seem particularly distracting. Today it dates the movie more than anything else.
