Star Trek Props?

I can't help but think that the laser rifle's used in this movie look a lot like those Capt. Kirk and his crew used in the 2nd Star Trek pilot (with Gary Lockwood and Sally Kellerman) & the blue dress one of the actresses wears looks a lot like the dress that nurse Chapel wore in the series. I also can't help but wonder if the suits the men wore in this movie might have influenced the costume designers for Star Trek:The Motion Picture when they designed the crew's uniforms.
