Thank you! I must admit Iactually found that one on my own, but is it in hungarian or is it subtitled? I'm norwegian and would really like to have the original narrator's voice. If it is in an understandable language, I'll buy it on the spot!

reply

It has the original sound and you can choose hungarian subtitle if you want.

I've seen a XviD version of decent quality, one can search for it on ed2k or gnutella networks with one of those popular p2p clients.
The best film ever made IMO :-)

Where in Budapest can I buy this film?

The production company has agreed to make a few DVD releases of their production. (finally). I am afraid I don't have more information than that (like dates etc) It has been available on VHS for a while, but even then you would usually have to buy an ex rental-copy.

Svenska Ord will release the bulk of their production on DVD (they thought there was no market for it. Morons)

It is probable that they will do this in the form of boxes, with two or three of their films in one set. As far as I know, no release date has been set, yet. If anyone else knows more, I would be grateful.

I for one have started saving up.

reply

Maybe you know this already, but two box sets with four movies each will be released i Sweden next week (the 29th). However the only subtitles available seems to be Swedish and Norweigan. Of course on Picasso subtitles might not be that essential anyway.

reply

and Picassos Äventyr will be in the second boxset ;) I want both :P

reply

Picasso's Äventyr has an English audio track on the DVD (none of the other movies do however).
I have both boxes :)

reply

the first Hasse & Tage box is now out with movies like "Den enfaldige Mordaren" and "Sopor" "Mannen som slutade Roka" etc. They are planing a second box for release aswell and rumor is that The Adventure of Picasso will be in it, I will be sure to order it from Sweden when it gets released.

You can buy it in a 4 film box at http://english.megastore.se/template/next%2CProduct.vm?itemid=1557911

The name of the box is:
