Is its just me or was this scene a bit..well odd?
Its about 72 minutes into the film.

I just watched Patrick last night. This is the best piece of dialogue I've ever heard.

I've seen this film before, its on BBC2 right now.

That isn't the actual quote by the way! LOL He asks her to confirm that Patrick had an erection and then said 'Get him to do it'

I thought it was a bit odd that she touched him there earlier in the film in the scene when she realised he could feel. I mean... why?

It could be that Patrick steered her towards that area. Via the typewriter we learn he was hoping for a hand at that point.

I am not a complete idiot. Some parts are missing.

Not odd at all - he had feeling in his top half but apparently not the legs - she was just finding out the edge of his sensations

Definitely one of the best moments in this overall pretty mediocre and forgettable movie.
