Robert Thompson - Patrick (62? Nah!)

Was just watching Patrick on DVD, and decided to have a look and see what Actors were in and around this movie etc, when i noticed something Odd.

Robert Thompson, the man who played Patrick in the movie, according to IMDB was born in 1916, So at the time of Production of Patrick, 1978, he was...... 62? Does that bloke in the bed look 62? I hope i look that good at 62.

He Died in 2010 at the age of 93.

Seriously though, 62! what do others think? I think theres a mistake here somewhere.

A mistake, obviously. I guess there's more than one Robert Thompson.

Typical IMDb screw-up of confusing one actor named Robert Thompson with another one with the same name. It happens all the time on this website.

and who is the right Robert Thompson?

I just saw the movie and thought the same thing - the guy in the bed cannot be 62 years old. He looks like 25 up to 35 i think.
Whatever - anyone knows the right actor? What is he doing right now?
