Guys have no problem trading with you..dont want to sell..no rights to do so.
Although i went out of my way to get a DVD converted from VHS Commercial tape years ago.
Anyway, i know what its like to be looking for this film..a great made-for-TV
Baseball movie....Burton is totally convincing, ive always been shocked how he had Leflore's swing down perfect.

so if you have something to trade let me know..otherwise you might find a bootleg copy on Ebay..or maybe a actual VHS commercial tape..beware of someone who has a version recorded off TBS or some cable channel...total *beep*

ps id be happy to give copy to Mr Leflore himself!!, if he doesnt have one.
he was a great ball player and im glad i had the chance to see him play at Shea Stadium in his Expos days..i always looked up to his outfield and baserunning skills

I played Carl, the pitcher who pitched against him in prison. The prison scenes were shot in Stateville near Joliet, IL. LeVar was not a baseball player. He could run but not hit or throw. He did throw and catch like a girl. The scene were he is running with his back to the camera catching the ball was actually an inmate, Bubba Smith, who was the real starting center fielder for the Stateville Prison team called the Trojans. To get him to make contact with the bat, I had to toss the ball from 30 feet away slowly. The base running scenes were LeVar. The red headed 3rd baseman was an inmate and the catcher is still locked up today. The husky black batter is now dead, shot in Chicago by gangbangers a couple years after he got out. The movie was at BlockBuster for quiet a few years on VHS but now it is hard to find. I bought one about 10 years ago off eBay for like $75 and immediately transferred it to DVD.
