Although I lived the events depicted during the time specified and the movie was made. Too bad Kerwin Mathews had a bit part, and this movie was merely exploitational change operatorship.

Exploiting people for mockery and changing the society in which they live. By going to cons and NOT getting hired for a job a person gets labeled with "loser" and then there is nothing but exploitation especially ACTORS who make such films... instead of being recognized as ENTERTAINMENT and fun, serious minded people pigeon hole, and doing REAL work and REAL effort after the fun schlock doesn't always yield a Peter Jackson, or a Danny Elfman... usually you have depressed people who don't do the good quality of life things they should. And the people who partake in the entertainment find their future jobs have gone to other politically "correct" people who have an axe to grind against the country they live and work in.
Not complex, just lifetime education and observation.

Just how large a role does Kerwin Mathews have in this, and is this film worth seeking out for him – or for any other reason, for that matter? And does this film at least make good use of San Francisco locales?
shareI thought this film was done with a real engaging affection to the horror genre. I got a kick out of all the knowing nods to classic fright films as well as the colorful depiction of the 70's horror scene.
