It's a strange good movie.
The writer, Patrick White is the real deal.
His great novel VOSS is finally coming back into print this month!

It was nice to see Ruth.
It was also nice to see Maggie Kirkpatrick aka The Freak in Prisoner. I hope the ABC run more Aussie movies from the '70's in future. I see that 'Malcolm' is on next saturday night, which is one of my favourite aussie movies with the late great John Hargreaves.

This has to be the worst Aussie film I have ever seen. Not bad enough to be funny, and the editing is incompetent.
This should be seen by film students to see what not to do.
I have to tell you pheogm, if you had stuck it out about 5 minutes more, things actually start to happen at that point. I very nearly stoped watching at about the 30 minute mark, but I'm kind of glad I didn't now.
