Why isn't Otter a part of the Omegas?

Is it because he didn’t come from money or the right connections? Doesn't he otherwise, based on his personality, give the impression that he's an elitist snob too? He has that faux-presentation of respectability thinly conveiling so much bullshit.

HE IS APART FROM THE OMEGAS.🙂

But he has a sense of humor & a sense of absurdity, something the Omegas lack. He cheerfully owns up to his bullshit & knows it's ridiculous.

Background is a huge issue with people like the Omega's. Members most likely have to be 100 percent White Anglo Saxon Protestant. I would nit pick the term WASP as Saxon is German in origin and most of the people I knew were down on the ethnic groups on the European Continent including Germans. Some English around where I live don't like Catholics even if they carry an obvious English surname. At the time of AH churches were just starting blend together in terms of ethnic background. In smaller communities the Catholic Churches had enough Masses on Sunday to placate everybody who wanted their own service. One Mass would be Irish heavy, the next Italian, and down the line. My dad's parents not being any of the majors often got cold treatment if they attended one of those Masses.

Rag Tag groups are often led by narcissistic people who by all rights should be part of the preppy popular kids but aren't because they can't be leaders there..Otter would just be another Omega but in Delta he is king and has his army to wage war on the ones who has the spot he wants.
