He sure was sexy in Midnight Express. You can feel his eroticism oozing off the screen even more so than in Fassbinder's Querelle. I bet he was a real hit in those 70's/80's LA gay bathhouses he frequented.

His performance in Midnight Express is phenomenal. And its criminal that he got no recognition or awards for it..
