Bizarre looking characters

The guy playing the Turkish warden was terrific (I loved the way he kept flicking sweat off his forehead), but where on earth did they find his grotesque children? They are not listed in the credits here, but they were so perfect as his sons. The one little boy could barely walk because he was so fat. They reminded me of Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

The guy playing Billy's lawyer was brilliant too. So fat and oily. A real slime.

looked like a turkish tony soprano, slight bit sweaty-er

^You know, that never occurred to me, but I think you are right. I prefer Tony Soprano though!

Fat children are people too you know, even if they are Turkish.

LOL.

I agree, all of them were great and memorable characters. The lawyer was one of my favorites. Such a sleaze.

There are so many bizarre looking people this movie, take that fat hustler for example (the one who tells Billy that "Rifki has plenty enemies, plenty enemies"
What a character!

reply

I forgot about him. He was great.

I think that fat hustler is played by the guy in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom who gets excited over the "snake surprise" dish. The obese guy who sat next to Willie in that scene.

reply

I know! I keep forgetting that is the same man that played The Elephant Man!

MY GAWD!

What do you expect. . . They were basically raised in a TURKISH PRISON!

Captain Over would have been proud!
