My favorite and least favorite parts of this film:

1. FAVORITE: The HAPPY ENDING. I love that he escaped and we got to see the happy reunion he had with his family. I love happy endings and as an added bonus he got to kill that fat rapist guard.

2. LEAST FAVORITE. It really pi$$e$ me off that the movie never had SUBTITLES. Most people watching that movie do NOT speak Turkish and I could not tell what the hell they were saying. How hard would it have been to have subtitles? It is very common for foreign films to have them. Near the end there was an argument entirely in Turkish and I could not tell what the hell they were saying. It is not too late they could do a "special edition 40th anniversary dvd" and put the subtitles in then.
