DVD ?
Does anyone know when/if this forgotten gem will be available on DVD ? US or UK version doesn't matter, I want to see this movie again with the excellent Bruno Ganz and a perfect musical score.
shareUnfortunately the only DVD version, so far as I can ascertain, has been issued by Arthaus, as the original German language version, without English subtitles. Arthaus says they only have the rights to the German version so they will not be issuing a subtitled version.
Maybe if enough people lobby the Criterion Collection, they will pick it up.
builtinbc: Thank you for this information. I actually saw that the German DVD had been released. Maybe one day Criterion or someone else will put out an English subtitle version.
