Things I Learned While Watching "The Manitou".

1. If you have an entire hospital floor covered wall to wall with ice, your breath will not show.

2. While a hospital and its environs are being destroyed by an alien being, it's best that the staff cower around doors and corners while never thinking to call the cops. What good would they do? Plus all those extras and costumes would just add to the budget.

3. When chants and spells fail to subdue a horrid being that has sprung from a lover's neck, tossing an IBM Selectric at it will quell the fight. At least for awhile.

4. Then, when a true Native American Medicine man cannot defeat the beast, a good telling off by Tony Curtis is the next best strategy.

5. When hospital computers are run at full capacity, they will emanate smoke and explode in a frightening fashion.
