Try these:

"Dolls".
" Puppet Master".
" Dead of Night".
" Trilogy of Terror".
" Tales from The Hood".
" Tourist Trap".
" Pinocchio's Revenge".
" Devil Doll ( 1964)".
" Dolly Dearest".
" Making Contact ( a.k.a. Joey)".

And of course, there's the most famous killer-doll movie of them all, Child's Play.

Also, check out Beyond The Door, that infamous Italian Exorist rip-off. Although killer dolls aren't the focal point of the film, there is a really creepy scene in which a little girl's doll collection becomes demonically possessed, complete with glowing eyes!

and dont forget the demonic clown doll in poltergeist

My favorite: Curse of the Doll People,
the creepy black-and-white Mexican movie that
gave me nightmares as a kid in the Sixties.

Puppet from "Saw", although he never actually kills anyone. But he IS creepy.

I still say Trilogy of Terror is the scariest. Stop motion animation or not, that is one terrifying looking doll.

This might be stretching it but the mannequins in LISA & THE DEVIL were pretty creepy.

Everyone mentions the Zunni doll from Trilogy. Creepy looking, yes in my opinion. But I guess there's something about stop motion animation that kinda takes the creepy edge off.

How do you document real life when real life's getting more like fiction each day?

Does the ventriloquist dummy Fats in the Anthony Hopkins movie Magic (from the 70's) count? Pretty intense movie...

There are two Twilight Zone episodes that could fit into this catagory. The Obvious being "Living Doll" and then another episode titled "The After Hours," though nobody actually dies in the later episode mentioned. I always liked the scene from A Nightmare On Elm Street 3, when the Freddy puppet is creeping up on his victim. There is a film called Blood Dolls and another film called Doll Graveyard, both run of the mill Full Moon pics. Blood Dolls is pretty stupid, but supposedly Doll Graveyard turned out better. I bought Blood Dolls for 3 bucks, but couldn't see paying more than that.

This movie isn't about a killer doll. Watch it again.

And the Twilight Zone episode "The Dummy" with Cliff Robertson.

Okay, I've read every post and I can't believe no one mentioned "Chucky". Okay, so most of the sequels were kind of lame but the original movie was very good.

Puppet Master
Demonic Toys (really good one IMO)

..Child's Play

add to the list
Dolls (1987)
Making Contact (Joey)
Tourist Trap (1979)
May (2002)
Doll Graveyard (2005)

There's a spoof on Child's Play in the Simpsons episode [http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0758368/]

Dead Silence blew, and someone did mention Chucky the first 3 parts were called 'Child's Play'.

reply

The Fear. also part 2 but the first one was better
