“DOH!”

Have fond memories of this movie. Seen it first run in the theaters when I was a kid in the 70’s. Saw it with my friends & I’m not sure if I have seen this more than once in my life or if we went back to see it again, but it was a good movie for us to goof on while watching it. This was while the “Star Wars” era was in full swing so movies such as this were being made like nobody’s business.

At the time if I remember correctly me & my buds didn’t think it was bad but we were kids & all we needed was to see a laser gun & the guy blasting things to smithereens, so we were happy.

The thing is we LOVE to make fun of this movie for the stupid elements of this film that made you hit your head in a “DOH!” moment like Homer Simpson. First off in the beginning we see the aliens chase the first laserblast guy & zap him. Then they leave the gun & the pendant in the desert for anyone else to find! They don’t even take the weapon or the pendant with them. They’re like “Ok we’re done, lets go”.

Of course someone else finds it & the same thing happens all over again! Then when the aliens are on their way home, their boss/leader contacts them & proceeds to yell at them by showing them proof of their f*%k up & he’s like “You dumb bastards, you DIDN’T TAKE that sh!t with you? What were YOU THINKING?” Then they have to go back & kill the new guy & I don’t think they still have taken the weapon after they were done!

Too, too funny. It’s hard to find good help these days, especially not on planet earth. What do you all think?
