Looking for similar film

Here's yet another film, which showed up as a Yahoo!Answers Movie mystery. I'll ask for the questioner, who writes:
I saw this movie on TV 5 to 10 years ago, and I have been trying to find out the name of it ever sense. Now here is where It might get hard. I was flipping through the channels, and came upon this movie. It was on a Spanish station. So I don't know if it was a Mexican movie, or an American movie dubbed in to spanish. I have no idea what they were saying so I don't know much of the plot. This is what I know. It was in color. It was an old western, like a Clint Eastwood western. Old west, and gunfighters. Not like the cowboy and indians type western. There was this man that finds this thing that goes over his arm. He puts it on, even though he doesn't know what it is. The arm piece is made of leather, and steel. It covers half his lower arm, and half his upper arm. There is a gear on each side of his elbow. When he puts it on it tightens up, and he can't take it off. These 5 or so guys ride up on horse back, and want to kill him. They all pull out there guns. The gears on the arm piece start to turn. In 2 seconds he shoots them all dead. He doesn't know how he did it. All he knows is that it was the arm piece that did every thing for him. Now everyone wants to kill him. He doesn't want to fight. But every time someone pulls there gun on him the gears on the arm piece start to move, and he shoots them dead. I don't know how the movie ended, because I had to go to work. But I can't get this movie out of my mind. I have looked all over the internet for it. The movie is not "Laserblast". Every time I ask about this movie someone tells me it is Laserblast. It is not a cheep sci-fi B movie. It is a Clint Eastwood, John Wayne type western. Any info to help me find this movie will help a lot.

I admit that my first thought was an "Outer Limits" episode, but I've found only the one with Esai Morales, "Heart's Desire". It doesn't match up to the weapon's description from the questioner. I also considered "Adventures of Briscoe County, Jr.", as that show crossed over into sci fi territory. So, does anyone have a clue what this sci fi Western might be?
