This movie gave me nightmares
I was six years old when my mom took my brother and I to see Star Wars when it came out, and Laserblast was the opener in a double feature. I remember being really scared and having nightmares.

Did you dream of turing into an alien and going psycho? That would be a weird nightmare. I hope to see this movie.

I just watched this tonight on netflix, the mst3k version of course, and was telling my gf how I saw this at the theater and was pretty scared on certain parts. I was 5 and didn't really remember much from the movie, but when those parts that I vaguely remember being scared of came on, it all became clear. To this day, those parts looked creepy lol.
shareI like the "exotic" language that the alien hunters speak in Laserblast(1978).
"Yo Hei. Mik Sak. Bzherah. Nahzdrohvieh."
There's no subtitles to give us a clue about the dialouge. Leonard Nimoy used the same gimmick in Star Trek IV when the humpbacked whales talk to the alien probe.
