Any news on a Bluray release of this classic?

I read about this coming to Blu-Ray a few years back (before your post) and it never materialized. Full moon Direct has been releasing other Blu-Ray titles so I don't know what the hold up is on this. Could be a problem finding a good enough source for a transfer.

Would love to see a good scan of this at 1:66. Hard to believe it is 35mm though. The DVD seems more like it was sourced from 16mm.

It's possible Full Moon may release the film on Blu-Ray in the future, but don't hold your breath. They seem to be focusing on their more famous films. I think CURSE OF THE PUPPET MASTER and RETRO PUPPET MASTER are on the way. I think there's still more TRANCERS sequels that need a Blu-Ray, etc.
