is this the movie featured in muppets take manhattan?

i have never seen this movie...but in muppets take manhattan, there's a part where Scooter starts working at a movie theatre and they feature a 3D movie about Killer Fish...and a woman screams "OH NO! THE KILLER FISH ARE ATTACKING!" anyone know if that's this movie?

No, the film Scooter was referring to was invented for "The Muppets Take Manhattan". A spoof of sorts on the 3-D craze of '82 & '83 (and perhaps, specifically, "JAWS 3-D"). While there may be a resemblance, this particular film, "Killer Fish," was not filmed in 3-D.

Ironically, "Killer Fish" was distributed by Lew Grade's ITC, the same company that produced "The Muppet Show," along with the first two Muppet films, "The Muppet Movie" and "The Great Muppet Caper". However, by the time Jim Henson made this third Muppet film, ITC's theatrical releasing branch, Associated Film Distributors, was no longer.
