These guys were entering their intial phase of 'Let's whore ourselves out' with this movie. I remember having a 'Love Gun' lunchbox about a year before this movie came out. As big a fan as I was as a child, I'm embarrassed at how pathetic these guys became. Even in the 80s-minus COTN, they were awful. Song and image wise, they were lost, proving that without their makeup and costumes, they wouldn't have made it with just the music. Yes, the 70s tunes were much, much better, but still weak when compared to LZ, Lynyrd Skynyrd-even AC/DC.
