Yeah, looking back, I'm not sure what the fuss was about. She was considered extremely cute for 70s standards. Looked good in a pantsuit, I guess. I remember having major feelings for her when this came out. Of course I was just a little kid. Then, she showed up on "Hello Larry"....a show which had an audience share of me and about 3 or 4 other people, apparently.

It's funny. I was recently watching this on cable a few weeks ago and my wife commented, "geez, these kids are all butt-ugly!!" I think she was mainly talking about Larry Jr., but Keith Gordon gave her the heebie-jeebies too, I think. Hey, I told her, don't you remember? That was what made the 70s glorious! Today, they'd all look like supermodels.

If I was in their sailing party I would have thrown Jackie overboard as shark food. While it was quite realistic, her constant hysteria got to be very annoying. I imagine all the guys were looking at her purely because she was somebody new and it was a fairly small community (notice the absence of cliques, and even nerdy Timmy was an accepted part of their group).

I don't think the kids in Jaws 2 were ugly though. All the girls were pretty in realistic ways (although Tina was "Miss Amity"). And some of the guys were cute (especially Mike and Patrick). For the most part, they looked like a regular bunch of kids. If you look at the crap that comes out these days (like the remake of Piranha) everybody is a wannabe model, caked in make-up with perfect teeth and a boob implants (and that even applies to some of the male actors). They don't look like kids anymore, they look like manufactured dummies.

She was the most annoying person in cinema history. I understand being scared but screaming like that is just stupid. Why the hell do people scream like that for? I don't get it. I hated her with a passion. I think her screaming is what brought such a low rating compared to the first one. She should of died!

Good ole Sparrow Tits. Part of it is the new girl factor. Especially in a small town like that where they have known each other for a long time and might see each other more as siblings/platonic friends and not romantic couples a lot of the time. For the guys she is new blood. Plus she does scream alot, if she does that in bed it just might make up for the Sparrow Tits.
